I am so delighted you're here
Ive always been afraid of forgetting. The sound of a laugh, the feeling of a tiny hand wrapped around your index finger. That fear lead me to photography. I picked up a camera in highschool doing that as one of my subjects and then started up my business when i was 16, driven by the need to freeze time, hold onto those fleeting seasons we often don't realise are slipping by.
My story
Now, as a 21 year old mama to my beautiful but ever so cheeky 2 year old daughter Stevie Jayde, My passion runs even deeper.
I photograph her constantly, the way her nose scrunches whe she giggles, the way she puts her arms around my neck and squeezes, not just for me but for her. I make sure to make the effort to get into the frame too, so that one day she can hold a photo in her hands and say "Theres me and mummy when i was little" And she can see just how deeply i love her. Because one day, thats all we'll have, not the chaos, not the blur. just a photograph... and without that, all we're left with are memories we slowly start to forget.
